change background image from konsole
Just trying KDE out for the first time.. and I like it so far
But I'm wondering.. I've written a script for my machine running fluxbox, which calls a command to change the background. Can this be done w/ KDE? IE Is there a way to run a command which can accept an image as a parameter, to change the desktop background to it?
TIA

RE: change background image from konsole
You can use the following command to change the background:
|
Source code

1
|
dcop kdesktop KBackgroundIface setWallpaper {wallpaper file} {mode; a number}
|
You have to try out some values in the mode-field. According to the documentation, this is the tiling-mode.
