kdm xorg -layout

hello,

I googled around and searched through the forum but I didn't find a hint:
I use dualhead very often, but not always. So it would be great if I could restart X from kdm with different options.

I thought of writing a shell script which does this and place it in the dir where kdm reads the "Sessions" from...

Does anyone have a nice solution or any ideas?
