[Kopete] Adium Style: How are the colors picked?

I was just wonder.. for the newer versions of Kopete (0.9.92)... there is a style called "Adium" with consecutive messaging (as the Mac user's call it) and the incoming and outgoing message colors seem like they are picked by some kinda random algorithm or something..
but anyway (i'm sure all the stuff above is confusing haha but yeah) i was wondering if there is a way to choose specific colors for outgoing or w/e..

i was thinking.. maybe there is a file where it assigns the color based on the contact id and the first letter of the contact id or something.. but i haven't found anything like that...

basically.. right now.. my outgoign messages are in a red box.. i want it to be green lol does anyone know how to do this with the Adium style?

Bump, I'm new to Kopete and also wondering how it is decided, and if it is changable. Adium is one of my favourite styles for Kopete, but I don't like my colour.
