Very low performance while moving windows

// my system conf.:

ATI Radeaon 9600 XT
1024 MB DDR1 RAM
Amd Athlon XP (1,9Ghz)
VIA 400 Chipset
C-Media (Sound card)

// my Linux conf.:

Mandrake 10.0
Installed ATI Driver + 3D accelleration
KDE 3.1

// my Problem:

Every game or programm are executing very well.
But, while i'm trying to move eny kind of window , it moves very slow.
It doesn't happened, while i'm, using GNOME, but i really don't like to use it.

If you display window contents while moving, try turning that off.
