Lost Shortcuts in "K" menu
While trying to organize the shortcuts in the Applications Menu I have somehow lost almost all of them.
Some one on another forum suggested going into root and deleting the .kde folder under my home folder so it would rebuild, but that only put the default icons on my desktop.
What I would like to know is where are the shortcuts in the applications menu actually kept on the hard drive? Because I have them all there in my root account and I think I could just copy them.
Each user account has only the differences to the defaults. The defaults are in [code:1]`kde-config --prefix`/share/applnk[/code:1]
The user files are in [code:1]`kde-config --localprefix`/share/applnk[/code:1] usually in ~/.kde/share/applnk.
You can also use kappfinder to add entries to you menu.
