Keyboard Layout Switcher

I really think that it would be a good idea if a button is added to the
toolbar of all apps that will switch the keyboard layout for the
current window.
especially for text editors like kate, kedit, and kwrite, not to mention all of the koffice family.

Also,
An onscreen keyboard is a must have.

Anyone working on those?

Do you mean on a per-window basis instead of the already existing global option for the system tray? I don't think this will be implemented because it would clutter the interface even more.
IMHO not many people would use / need that...

BTW, I think the keyboard layout is a property of the Xserver, so it's one setting for the whole desktop.
