System: Mandrake Cooker, KDE 3.2
1) Only "icon view" is configurable to handle double-clicks, any other view mode will activate the file/folder on first click. Please make the option in peripherals->mouse->icons count for all view types, even though they arn't technically listing "icons".
2) In list views of files and folders, sometimes you open folders that contain more files than you can display on your screen. Upon this konqueror auto-fits to the file list so that there is no unused space in the browser. Once you've marked a file, or right-click on a file name (so that the entry is marked) there is no way to reach the "create new" menu (since there is no way to "unmark the file", unless leaving and re-entering the folder). I've seen a "create new folder" option once, but I've failed to reproduce it. I suggest that the "create new" is there even when files are marked, not as first option, but somewhere downwards, or even a submenu to actions.
3) When trying to download content from the web, konqueror sometimes insists on opening it in an internal application. I suggest that *all* content on remote locations should activate the "save as, open with, cancel" dialog.
4) Is popup blocker on its way? The most notable missing feature in konqueror...
Thanks for a great browser and desktop.
