Better communication between mods

Hi,
first of all good to see, that the forum finally did it. But I think there is less work between the mods.
I'm also mod al gentooforum.de where it's totally different. We have meetings in IRC (#gentooforum at irc.freenode.net), a Forum where only mods can post and finally we know each other better then here (and kde-forum.org exists longer the gentooforum)

Also I think one should registrate to be able to post. No personal information needs to be provided, only a username. I think it's very anonymous if 30% of the tobics are posted by "guest". You can't build a community on guests.

So what Di you think about it?

PS: gentooforum is still hosted on a homeserver with 256kb downstream, so it could take a while until it's loaded (just if you intend to visit it)

feedback

I don't now why the mods should communicate much? I think sometimes we could meet at IRC. I think now the users are coming and community is formatting so we will see. :)

Guests:
I don't know. Everywhere an account is bad and I don't like it so PRO!

Lets vote!
(I write a post)

Do you want a forced community or a good-running forum? If someone wants to be part of the community and be recognized as member, let him register and post under his pseudonym. Occasional users will appreciate guest posts, those don't will return because that had to register before.

Well, I don't want to force anything, but what's the problem to register? There are no problems in other Forums about that (look at forums.gentoo.org, unixboard.de,kde-forum.de etc. etc).
Someone won't return because he has to register (well he hast just to pick a username nothing more. I would't call that a registration)? You know a lot other people will do...
