KDE won't start

"kde.int won't initialize" (or something to the effect), is the error message I gett when I start KDE. Anyone have an idea on how I can fix this?

Have you got any more info on the error? Is it a new installation, upgrade or suddenly?

I'm using Vector 3.2 small 220mb ver. dosn't come with kde. The soho version won't config my mouse or video correctly. It's a new install.
I tried to install kde on my own using the Vector 3.2 package from the download page on the site, it installs fine no error message's, but when I click on 'startkde' in the '/opt/kde/bin/ directory I get an error 'can't start Kdeinit check installation.' So I tried in an terminal and type 'startkde', I get a list of error's 'kdeinit--libqt no file or directory found, kdeconfig--libqt no file or directory found', and so on

Hi,
I don't know which package format Vector Linux is using, but it seems you are issing some dependencies. You have to install the QT Libraries (Version 3.1.2 not 3.2!!!)
