Network Installation Help
I'm trying to install SuSE from the network install CD from the official FTP server. But I don't know what the IP address of ftp.suse.com is! So now I'm stuck. If anyone knows the IP address of the official FTP server or any up to date mirror that I can install from, please tell me so that I can try this distribution.

Kenneth,
For future reference, if you do not know the ip address you could use the following:
[code:1]host ftp.suse.com[/code:1]
This will display the ip address.
Thanks blockcipher. And erugger66, that's a command-line command, right? Thanks for the suggestion. I found the IP for "www.suse.com" from Netcraft, but I couldn't get "ftp.suse.com" that way. Now I can proceed and try to install SuSE.

If you need a hand let me know. I just did a network install over the weekend.

Likewise, I have installed SuSE off the ftp site at GA Tech several times. If you run into any snags I might be able to help. In my experience, after you get the IP address setup it just installs.
