ieee1394 not shown in kde 2.6 (Fedora core 2)

I just installled Fedora Core 2 on a Dell laptop. lsmod command does not show ohci1394 or ieee1394. On another laptop with Fedora Core 1 (kde 2.4), lsmod shows both ohci1394 and ieee1394. How do I get 1394 port to work on Fedora 2?
