Help with install of printer

Im a nebie to the linux world and have no clue what im doing. I cant get the printer to work and the wizard backend selection doesnt work, i got the ppd file downloaded but thats as far as i can get. Can you help me install my printer its a HP PSC 1210. The ppd is on my desktop right now.
