I lost KDE!

hey guys, I just upgraded my XFree86 software and I lost KDE, what do I need to do to get it back?

what do you mean `you lost it' ??

is it just that it is not on the startup list?
check /usr/share for the kde installation - it is probably just the list of WM/DE to be booted doesnt show.

try
startkde from the console before booting into the X window system - load single user mode.
