K3b not recognizing CDROM

I have two CD drives, one is your basic CDROM drive (Acer), the other an HP Cd-Writer 9100. Using K3b, I am able to burn to the HP Cd Writer, no problem. But I can't seem to get K3b to fully work with the Acer.

I am unable to Copy a CD from the Acer to the HP.
When i try to copy a CD, under Reader Devce, it only lists the HP, not the Acer.

It _can_ read the contents of a CD in the Acer.

If I go into Settings -> Configure K3b -> Devices, I see the following under "Reader":
ATAPI CD-ROM DRIVE 36X MAXIMUM
System device name: /dev/hdc
Inteface type: ATAPI
Vendor: ATAPI
Description: CD-ROM DRIVE 36X MAXIMUM
Version: T6AP
Max read speed: 0

The Max read speed of 0 can't be a good thing.

What can I do?

The problem is that K3b will not work with and APTI drive. If you look at your other CDR you will see that it sees it as a SCSI drive. You need to setup SCSI emulation on the other drive as well.
