Hi,
if you don't have any driver for ist, you can try to mount it as mass storage.
type [code:1]mount /dev/sda1 /mnt/directory[/code:1]
directory has to be created first of course.
Before unpluging the camera type [code:1]umount /mnt/directory[/code:1]
You have to be root to do this.
If it works, then you can add this to the fstab and create a Link on your desktop (similar to the harddisk icons)

Dim

PS: Have to tried gphoto2 yet?

Thank you for the reply I will try it within the next 24 hours and let you know if it worked. I actually didnt think about mounting it as a mass storage device, but seems to make sense. Gphoto2 does not contain any driver so far (not for USB) I didnt try the serial ports ;-).

Thanks for the reply so far.

Hi Dimitri,

I tried everything but no success, seems like I have to wait for the developers ;-) to make one.

gphoto2 has a huge list of devices but none of them is working with my camera (i actually tried most).

Also mounting it did not work. I will have to keep an eye on it.
