Canon bjc-620 under KDE

Hi all, anyone with a Canon bjc-620 printer have any luck with getting the output on photos to look correct. I am using cups 1.1.18 under kde 3.1 and the output looks like the photo was taken with an infrared camera.:) Printing text is no problem, just haven't able to get the right mix of settings for photos yet.
