Missing Icons
I am running KDE in Suse9.1 I tried to change the icon theme and all the icons on the desktop, system tray, lower panel were lost. The Desktop applications are still there, but there is only text. On the lower panel, applications like browser, etc. are still there when I drag the mouse over the panel but there are no icons. I tried fixing this in Control Center but no luck. I am a Newb and any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
perhaps you tried to install an incomplete icon set?
what iconset are you trying to use?
does it go back to normal when you change to the original theme?
I was trying to install crystal icons. It doesn't go back to normal when I change to the original theme, that is why I am soooo confused. Any more suggestions on getting my icons back.
I've had the same trouble...dunno why all the icons in KDE go away  there's only text for what icon theme I've applied...Any help? Thanks in advance
Hum..... I have this problem (icons missing) when I finished the installation of Kubuntu 5.10; some icons don't show in menu bar and tools bar.
