customize kde.

Hello

There are some things to fix, as u can see from the screenshots.

1) some icons are missing. The icon on the left of the Shell and the icons below Konqueror configuration.

There are 2 missing icons not visible in the screenshots.

a) below and right corner of Konqueror
b) up and left corner of Konqueror

probably they appear when Konqueror is not able to open a web site.

2) i want to change the words “Shell – Konsole” with Command Prompt

3) the color of the minimized windows is gray,while the bar is blue.

4) im using the redmond screen logon. I want to find a better logon screen,because it doesn’t change the username Charlie & with a real one.

5) i want that the run panel will be closer than the windows one. Maybe the word kdesktop should be deleted,as u can see here :

6) the start button is not nice. I can’t use a larger pic because I have a limited squared space. I need that someone will build a custom rectangular button instead of a squared one.

Maybe you have accidentally moved or removed them.

Shell is the title of the current tab, Konsole the caption of the program.

First one is easy, jsut change the tab name, second has to be changed in Konsole's code.

i don't know how are called. i can't replace them.

how can i change the tab name ? where i can find the konsole's code ?

Double clicking it, or change the name directly in the session file (hint: konsole's datadirectory)

There might be a widget style which displays inactive buttons blue, or a window decoration displaying them gray.
You as a developer can also change the code of your current decoration or style.

Code either in kdebase or kdeaddons, maybe kdeartwork.
