KDE 3.1.94 (Beta 2) Splash Screen is a large blue square

I have installed KDE 3.2 on Fedora Core 1. It works perfectly, except that the KDE Splash screen is a blue square with the black bar with status text and progress bar. The actual splash screen/icons are not there and the size of the splash screen is half what it should be.

I have looked in the ksplash pics directory and they are there.

Anyone have any ideas?

Install fedora-logos-1.1.20 instead of redhat-logos (if installed).
