Backup system utility

I am looking for a utility s/w to backup my Fedora Core system, or selected file. Much like the ones offered by Veritas in Windows OS. I can't seem to find it with the KDE package.
Any suggestions.

As far as I know, the backup utility in KDE is Konserve.

Have you tried Legato networker ? Also there is a utility on linux called taper! Not much help but it is something to start you off with.

I have actually managed to get Veritas Netbackup & Legato Networker working on Linux before.
