window on multiple virtual screens
Is there any way in KDE to drag a window from one virtual desktop to another, or to move between virtual desktops by just sliding the mouse off the edge of the screen in the direction that the other desktop is in? I know fvwm2 can do these sorts of thing, can KDE?
(all these switches between desktops aren't supposed to involve clicking on the pager in anyway)
"move it to the left" --me
Translated from German KDE so the names might be different
Control Center->Desktop->Windowproperties->Advanced (fourth tab)
On the page bottom, section active desktop borders.

yup that's what I'm looking for!
there's some other options there that are disabled, for xinerama. What's xinerama and why can't I use it?
"move it to the left" --me
I think xinerama is for setups with more than one monitor.
Cheers,
