Icon positions are being forgotten
KDE is no longer remembering the positions of the icons on my desktop. Every time I log in, they go back to a weird position with two icons close to the edge of the screen, and the other 5 in the position they'd be in if you ran "align to grid" on icons that were right on the edge of the screen.
It didn't USED to forgot the icon positions. It's also not letting me save GKrellM in my session like it used to. :? Anybody know how I can fix it?
Oh, and I'm running KDE 3.1.3.
Well, I finally figured it out. Since this has gotten no answer, I'll post what I figured out in case anybody else has the problem.
Something was wrong with the hidden ".desktop" file in the Desktop's directory. I dunno what was wrong, but I just deleted it and KDE created a new one. Now it works.
Sorry if we don't reply, but we can't fix everthing. For example, it'd be hard to figure it was due to that hidden file unless we had that same problem or knew about it from somewhere else. Don't feel neglected.
