Konqueror and Zip Files
I'm trying to get Zip Files to open in Ark rather than Konqueror when I left click them. I've gone to "edit file type" and selected Ark as the Viewer and also selected the "show in separate viewer" option under embedding.
It's made no difference though. Zip files still open in Konqueror when I left click them.
Any idea what the problem is?
make sure that ark has the priority over konqueror.
ie make sure ark is the first element in the list for the selected applications

konqueror isn't even on the list.
Go in kontrol center, Mime types. Somewhere over there, you can choose if opening a file of a certain mime type uses the embebed application, or a separate application. Probably it's set for using the embebed app, which is konqueror image component(or some name like this).
Well, under file associations, it's set to use a Separate Viewer, so I haven't got a clue what the problem is.
The problem occurs with all archive types apart from RAR files, which open in Ark when clicked.
