passing parameters with icons

Hi everyone,

I would like to know how can I pass an option to an application started by clicking an icon?

For example: I need to start kmail with the option "--check" (like: kmail --check, in command line) by clicking the icon I have created; How can pass this option in the icon definition ?
Thanks in advance
Lourival

Right click on the icon
Choose properties and then the execute tab, then change the command field to what you want

If you want to create advanced icons, you can write scripts that use DCOP-commands to check a certain state of the application and then invoke a certain command (like mute sound when not muted and vice versa)
