desktops on taskbar
how to remove the desktops doo-hickey off the taskbar ?
What "doo-hickey"? Do you mean the desktop pager next to the taskbar?
To remove the pager on KDE 3.0.x simply right click on the kicker select Remove select Applet then Pager.
This should make the pager go away. If/When you want it back just select Add rather than remove.
Hope that works for you.
Thanks! That did it.
I like a very small taskbar, so every bit of real estate on it is valuable, and since I use only one desktop, Pager is of no use to me.
How to remove a button from my taskbar ?
Hi,
I have the same problem, I have added the eyes applet on
the taskbar and I can't remove it anymore. I tried to use
the solution you provided but it doesn't work. Click right
on the kicker -> select Remove and then the kicker
disapears. How can I remove this eyesapplet from my
taskbar?
The eyesapplet doesn't react to right click, what should I do?
I use KDE 2.2.1 which has a 1.1 Version KDE Taskbar.
Thank you
chris
Re: How to remove a button from my taskbar ?
First I suggest you upgrade to KDE3.1, but failing that you want to look just to the left of the applet. You will see a "handle"(a verticle bar). Right click on it and select remove.
