HELP WITH KDE3 IN RH8

I was experimenting with window appearances and transparency in KDE3 when my linux box froze. When I rebooted and logged on, KDE seemed to load fine until it tried to restore my previous session, and then it froze again. GNOME and Window Maker still work. Is there any way I can change the KDE window appearance while not in KDE or any other way to fix this? :?: :?:

Hi,
have you tried just to rename you ~/.kde profile? Kde will create a new one if it isn't available.
