Virtual Desktops

I am running Mandrake 7.1. I was wondering, how do you change the amount of virtual desktops in KDE to 1? I move the slider all of the way down, and it leaves me with two virtual desktops. Thanks!

What KDE version? 3.1 allows to reduce to one desktop.
Why don't you simple remove the desktop pager? :-)
