Desktop Toolbar Won't go away

Using kde3.1 I enabled the desktop menu bar that sits up on the top. When I goto disable it, nothing happens, I also manually edited the .kde/share/config/kdesktop.rc and put it to fasle, yet it still there!! How can I disable it? I would not mind it if it were configurable to look like gnomes desktop bar, but this bar is hindering the look of my current theme :-D.

I found the problem, is in the control panel under style, the "show macos type toolbar" was enabled.. disabled and back to norm
