Strange bug with icons. Why?

Hi,

I've installed some icons from the site www.kde-look.org, who were the "Crystal OS X", "Crystal Icons"(new version), "AquaFusion", and "NeonIcon" (I'm not very sure that these are the exact names).
I use Linux Mandrake 9.0 with KDE 3.0.3.
And, when I pass over some icons (folders for example), with the mouse, I get a strange bug, like on those screenshots (in red):
Screenshot 1
Screenshot 2
The folder, turns over hisself, but let's a strange graphical bug on the "way" he used to turn...
Is that "normal"??? How can I fix this???
Also, another bug with icons, with folders and other icons:
The icons are big, but when I pass over them with the mouse, the get smaller with a quite strange effect (sorry, it's too quick, so I couldn't take a screenshot of this bug). Is that "normal"??? How can I fix this???
Please help me.
Thanks a lot for all the help that you can give :D.
Bye, and see you later.

That happens to me on some of my icons of programs that are currently running in the taskbar.

animated icons

the first "bug" you are reporting, isn't a bug, but an animated icon.
I don't use those themes you have tryed but I know Crystal theme uses some animated icons (in MNG format).
I don't know if the frames trace is an effect or a limitation of the MNG format.

I've never encountered the second bug you talk about, I've looked in the incos propities on the kcontrol but there isn't an effect to reduce icon sizes (I'm using KDE 3.0.4 on SuSE).

Ok, thanks a lot for your help :D.
Whats the "MNG Format" 8O???
Also, please, if you find out something for the second bug I talked about, tell it to me.
Thanks a lot for your help :D.
Bye, and see you later.

MNG

I don't know very much about MNG, but I think is something like animated-GIF combined with PNG images.

But can't PNGs be animated?
