where is kopete???!!!
hi,
im a newbie in linux, i decide to change to after read about palladium and the tcpa projects :x
ok here i go with my first post, i have knoppix 3.7 and i downloaded "kopete-0.8.4" i have it in my home folder and to install a opened a root terminal window and did type "./configure" and the "make" and then "make install" ok till this point everything nice and sexy but now..
WHERE IS KOPETE? I CANT FIND IT
thanks in advance
There exist a whereis command in Unix to find your programs back. You can try if[code:1]whereis kopete[/code:1] returns the place where it is located.
I think you can find it back in /usr/local/bin. To execute it, run [code:1]/usr/local/bin/kopete[/code:1], or make a link.
thank you very much :)
thanks now is working fine
i think this OS is quite much more funny than the MS-$$$$$$$ XP
