[Konqueror] embedding vs external viewer profiling

Is there a way to use a different profile for opening files in filemanagement vs browser-mode?

I'd like to open images in filemanager with kuickshow, but while using Konqueror as a browser they should open in Konqueror window.

As long as the settings have to be same for both, It's impossible for me to use Konqueror both as filemanager and browser.

I hope this makes sense.

It does make sense. Bug 55221 sort of covers this issue (there may be others as well). Unfortunately there is no real resolution at present and this is definitely one of Konq's downsides. Right now I use embedding by default but when I'm in filemanager mode I just right-click on everything and select "Open With"...[/url]
