[ Kopete ] Uninstall/upgrade question

I would like to upgrade my version of Kopete that came with Fedora C 2 package, because it no longer works with Yahoo and I hear that the CVS versions do..... However it says to uninstall my current version of Kopete before installing the new one. How do I do that? Since the Kopete came with the default KDE rpms, there is no way for me to uninstall Kopete individually. Can I just delete the kopete binary, or will this cause problems?

rpm -e kdenetwork-kopete should uninstall the rpm.

also if you dont want to mess with CVS .8.4 was released with the fixes
