how to disable favicons

hello,

i had read an "undocumented tip" at one of the KDE sites about how to disable favicons, and now i cannot find it again. it was one of the KDE sites, and listed several interesting tips for KDE and Konqueror. anyway, my question is this: how can i disable favicons in Konqueror? i am using v3.1 on Mandrake 9.1. thanks in advance for any help that either answers my question directly, or can lead me back to that tip page.
