microphone and webcam on kopete

Hello everyone!!!

I'm a french student, i have been crazy about Mandrake Linux for 2 years, I installed 10.0 Official the week before, and i can assume that it 's very existing to use this new version.
However, I would like to know why kopete do not support microphone conversion and video device even though kopete accepts all the protocole ;)
i'm compelled to use Gnomemeeting which is very interesting but i wondered if one day it will be possible for kopete to support these device (audio and video)

I'm looking forward to obtaining your own opinion about that!!!
