Problems with Kopete and messages

Hello,

i've installed SuSE 9.1 some days ago and i've tried to use Kopete under KDE 3.2...ok, no problem to config my accounts (ICQ,Yahoo etc.) but everytime, i want to send a message to other People in my messengerlist, i can't start to write something, the only thing is a error-message in german, something like "no window can be created". So, does anyone here knows the problem and what to do? 'cause kopete seems to be a nice tool but not useable for my right now...
