ICQ 'disconnects' randomly multiple times per day

ICQ 'disconnects' randomly multiple times per day

I don't know if this is Kopete (0.8 supplied with kde3.2) or if it is ICQ.

What happens is everyone in my icq contact list will suddenly go offline, even someone I am in an active chat with.

According to the icq icon at the bottom of kopete it still thinks I am connected. If I disconnect, then wait about 20 seconds and reconnect everyone magically comes back online!

Any i deas? This is happening as much as every 30 minutes or as little as every 3-4 hours.

My AIM and Yahoo contacts remain just fine when this happens.
