Freeing Konqueror from KDE

Is there any way to get konq without all the rest of KDE coming along?

I'm trying to conserve disk space and CPU on a computer I'm putting together, and so far I'm having no luck pulling konq free. I really prefer the feel of the khtml engine over the gecko, but right now the ability to stand alone is more important to me.

Thanks in advance.

Well, in order to run conqueror you _have_ to have the qt libs installed, also you need to have most of the kde libs installed as well. Konqueror wasnt designed to be a stand alone browser, its intended purpose, at the moment, is to be the embedded system viewer and web browser of kde as Explorer is to windows.

Well, you won't need much of KDE, just the libs and Konquerors own lib.
