where'd it go?

ok.. im a linux newbie (suse 9) and it told me there was a "security update" so i download thhis update, and all is good.. and i closed kopete, and when i went to re-open it some time later i found that all the icons i had made for it in my menu thing were gone, and i did a find files search for kopete and i went to every one of them and i couldnt make it open.

what the hell did i do? and how do i fix it??

ok it popped up again (just now) under the section on the top of the menu where the icons u use the most go. and now im having issues with yahoo (its not connecting, yet the icon is colored like im connected) and the icon, which used to be under internet > more programs is still missing

on a side note it takes it longer to load now, and its crashed twice
