How do I keep kopete windows stuck to a given desktop?

I am using kopete 0.8 / kde-3.2 (very nice!). But one thing is driving me wild. I keep my kopete chat windows on one of my desktops to keep them out of my work areas, but when I am off that desktop and an incoming message arrives, the kopete chat window migrates to my currently active desktop. I would really like to keep it pinned to its original desktop. Gaim windows don't migrate (but then again, Gaim does not work with Yahoo these days!)
