0.7.4 xslt configure problem

hi, I recently downloaded the source code for the latest stable version of kopete, 0.7.4. I also downloaded and installed libxml and libxslt from xmlsoft. After compiling those two packages, I tried to compile kopete, but when I ran ./configure, I received an error stating that xslt-config could not be found. Now I was able to finish all three steps to compile libxslt. I was wondering if this is a known issue at all with various versions of xslt, or if there is a workaround to bypass the problem. I double checked the /bin directory and no xslt-config could be found.
