open http-links in konqueror
sorry for that noob-question, but i have the following problem: if i hit a http-link in kmail, kopete and so on konqueror opens it, but it opens it as file://, not http://
how can i configure konqueror, that it opens these link as http:// ?

Check if you have a file named something like
.kde/share/mimelnk/text/html.desktop and if yes, remove it.

I have the same problem but the mentioned file doesn't exist. In my ~/.kde/share/mimelnk/text folder there are two files, one for python and the other for tex.

Control Center->KDE Components->File Associations
Check text/html
Topmost entry should be Konqueror, if you click edit the command should be
kfmclient openProfile webbrowsing %U

It was "kfmclient openProfile webbrowsing". I added the "%U" and know it works. Thanks!
