Web pages showing incorrectly in Konqueror
I'm using SuSE 8.1 and KDE 3.1.3 (though I noticed the same problem with 3.1.2). When I use konqueror to view web pages I notice that the pages are always displayed as being slightly wider than the window (making me scroll left and right to see text sometimes.) I recently reformatted my harddrive and reinstalled everything, and saw that in KDE 3.0 there were no problems with page renderings, but when I installed 3.1.3 I had the same problem again. Does anyone know why this is happening, and maybe how to fix it?
Thanks!
Tristion
This is a known bug with kde 3.1.3. The only reference I can find to it is in the gentoo bug database, which contains a patch. It can be found at http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=25806
There was such a bug in kdelibs 3.1.3, and only 3.1.3 not 3.1.2 too, which was fixed in kdelibs 3.1.3a. Now better wait for KDE 3.1.4.
