Konqueror has gone nuts
Hi all
I have a piculear problem
My konqueror browser has gone nuts.For local file browsing its ok but when i connect to net it dosent show any web page and show the following error
An error occured while loading http://www.google.com:
The file or directory http://www.google.com does not exist.
seems there is some settings problem
can anybody help me in this regard

firstly, what are the details of your computer, ie:
- internet connection type (dial-up or broadband)
- can you connect to the internet using mozilla or someother web browser
- have you tried anything yet?
- is the network service started?
- what distro are you using?
etc etc
then maybe we can help
I am using RedHat 8 with dial up internet connection
Yup mozilla is working fine as is all the other net related softwares like Kmail etc.
Only the konqueror is giving problems
i feel there is some problems with the settings may be
I will check out

Hi
this is to inform u all that i have got around the problem
actually i had disabled the cache and set it as offline mode.Now i have enabled "keep cache in sync " option in the settings and konqueror works well on the net
