Importing mail to KMAIL
Hi, I have been a netscape mail user for many years now, and I would like to start using kmail, well I have one small issue, I would like to import all my email/address to kmail from netscape mail, and I can't. Does anyone knows how to do that?

I assume Tools->Import...->Netscape LDIF Addressbook did not work for you?
Unfortunatly it did not, it tells me to sellect a directory, (I do) it tells me to continue (I do), BUT nothing happens.

I know I read something about it a while ago, but am unable to find it right now. Will let you know when I do.
Thanks because untill I find a way to import all my mail and addresses I will have to stick to the old Netscape mail.

I still cannot find it, but maybe you could try another way?
Say you export it to a comma delimited file(csv) in Netscape and then import it to kmail?
Just an idea as a work around. I looked at the bug list, but did not see a solution as yet...
 It looks like I am not suppose to move over to kmail unless I am willing to loose all my emails & contacts, because I can not export anything in Netscape apart from my bookmarks. Anyway thanks for your help and if I ever find out how to export or import or transfer it, I'll post it here!

Netscape's mails should be in mbx or maildir format.
It should be possible to copy them to the KMail mail directory ~/Mail and starting KMail to have them imported.
