Konqueror and used links

I updated my kde to 3.1 and decided to try konqueror as my main browser again. However i stumbled upon one small thing. As expected the used links (those that ive already read) changes color nicely. This color change however doesn't last more than ~8-10 hours.

This does bother me as i read mailing list archives and i lose the info on which mails i've read over night. I tried to find a option from Settings/Configure konqueror, but haven't found anything that would change this. I've changed the history sidebar times and cache size, but no help.

I would be very happy if someone can point me to right direction :).
