Network Configuration
I have used Linux for a while but I have never used the offered GUIs.
I'm using KDE 3.0 and I'm trying to change my IP Address information but I can't find where to go to do it. I searched the net and apparently there is suppose to be a "Network Configuration" under System on the menu but I don't have that. Did I miss installing a package?

I have never seen a KDE Gui for changing the ip adresse.
The best way is to use the tool your distribution offers (yast2, drake usw) or simply use ifconfig on the shell.

Do a search on Freshmeat.net for network configure, should come up with some X aps for ya!

Yes, there is a KDE GUI por network configuration
If you are Red Hat or Mandrake user , you can use Knetworkconf, you can change IP address to static or dhcp, change DNS and more.
It has a translate to Spanish made for me, but you can use it in English of course.
Download it in http://knetworkconf.sourceforge.net/

I can broswer the web,but the url should be numraical? i don't know how to config "DNS" !!!!!. please help me!
