kde 3.1.1 in slackware 9, samba shares problems.

Im having problems browsing SMB shares that contains a file or directory with any of the swedish letters å,ä,ö. Otherwise it works fine to browse smb shares. In nautilus while browsing these shares it prints the name of the file as "wrong unicode". is this a bug in kde or in samba?
