kmail 1.5.1 and mail sorting in folders

Hi,

I really don't know, am I the bug, or is it just kmail?

I want to have kmail arrange the emails in the folders sorted by date, news topmost. On most folders kmail keeps my settings, that I had at last exit, but on some it simply switches back to "date (of arrival)" newest at bottom (these are at most folders of mailinglists with >5000 mails).

So, again, I don't know. Am I doing something wrong? Did I miss a setting/feature of kmail?

I am running an ordinary KDE 3.1 / QT 3.1.0 setup on Gentoo.
