FTP-Client
Does anybody know a good KDE-FTP-client that supports socks5 as a proxy?
afaik it doesn't support socks, but if you can tell me what i have to put into which field to use socks5 with it, it would be great
don't know
I don't know!
I never used a special FTP connection with Socks5!

it's just because my provider has set a limit without using this proxy. if i have to much traffic without it i have to pay abot 50ยข per MB
oh!
Oh! That's a bad think!
I don't know! But perhaps another KDE-Forum.org know a client? We will see!

Hi,
here are some FTP Clients at apps.kde.com: http://apps.kde.com/na/2/browse/Networking_Internet/FTP

It said something about socks5

i think i found an even better solution with tunneling ssh and sftp through the proxy.
there is a really nice tutorial @ mandrakesecure for everyone that is interested
http://www.mandrakesecure.net/en/docs/openssh-socks.php
esp. #2 is very interesting and seems to work here
