KWord 1.2.1 backup copies

Is it possible to disable making backup copies on saving? I haven't found this option neither in menues nor in settings files

"Settings" / "Configure KWord" / "Document" Icon / "Create Backup File" check box

(That is for KWord 1.3.x, so may be it is a little different back in KWord 1.2.1.)
